Atlânticoline SA, a public company whose mission is to provide the public service of maritime transport of passengers and vehicles in the Autonomous Region of the Azores, has been following the evolution associated with the spread of the COVID-19 virus infection, taking all possible preventive measures to minimize the effects on your activity. In this way, and following the recommendations issued by the regional and national health authorities, a contingency plan was drawn up with the aim of systematizing the way of preventing, controlling, acting and communicating possible threats of infection, both for employees and passengers.
Atlânticoline S.A. recommends that:
• - In case of fever or general malaise, it is advisable to consult the doctor before making your trip or, alternatively, to call the Regional Health Line (Azores) 808 24 60 24 or Health Line 24 in advance National (Nº 808 24 24 24), for greater tranquility and prevention.
• - Wash your hands frequently, with soap and water, for 20 seconds, and especially after you blow, sneeze or cough.
• - Cover your nose and mouth (with a tissue and never with your hands) when sneezing or coughing.
- If you show suspicious symptoms on board one of our ships (eg malaise, such as fever, acute cough or respiratory problem), keep a safety distance greater than 1 meters from the remaining passengers and inform a member of the crew.
PREVENTION IS THE BEST WAY TO REDUCE THE RISK FOR PUBLIC HEALTH.
