ACQUISITION OF TWO ELECTRIC SHIPS

Responsible Entity: Atlânticoline SA
Description and Objectives: The investment consists of the acquisition of two electric ferries for the public company Atlânticoline S.A. for the transportation of passengers and vehicles between the islands of Pico, Faial and São Jorge. The ferries must have a minimum capacity of 200 and 100 passengers.
This investment aims to promote the decarbonization of transportation and internal mobility in the Autonomous Region of the Azores.
The execution of the investment will be completed by December 31, 2025.
Investment Amount: €25 million
Execution Schedule:
- Acquisition tender: First quarter of 2024
- Delivery of ships: Fourth quarter of 2025
